Lodhi Gardens have provided a quiet place in South Delhi for many years. You can enjoy the nature or the historic tombs and other buildings. Humayun’s tomb was the first garden tomb to be built in India in 1570. These gardens are very peaceful and scenic. The best thing is that there is an entry fee that prevents the crowd from coming in. It is the Hauz Khas Complex which contains a lake, a mosque, a tomb and some pavilions and other structures from the 13th century. For centuries this park has existed as a peaceful refuge for the students of Delhi as it contained old Madarsas where students would come to study during the time of Allauddin Khilji. Visit this park for a peaceful day in the lap of nature and history.
