Eraser
Eraser is an advanced security tool for Windows which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.
When you delete a file, the operating system does not really remove the file from the disk; it only removes the reference of the file from the file system table. The file remains on the disk until another file is created over it, and even after that, it might be possible to recover data by studying the magnetic fields on the disk platter surface.

1. Install Eraser 6.2.0.2969.
2. After Installation, an option of ‘Eraser’ will be added to the mouse’s right click menu.
3. To delete a file or Folder, Just right click it and select the ‘Eraser’ from the menu & then select the’Erase’ OPTION FROM IT.
4. The erasing procedure of the file/Folder will be started. You can check the status by opening the Eraser from the desktop or taskbar icon.

Note: Deleting Files using Eraser takes much more time than by normal deleting a file which takes only an instance. For example, it can takes upto 30 minutes to delete a file of size 4-5 GB ! That’s obvious because it is REALLY deleting your files from your PC.
